Her humble beginnings as an organizer started at age 10 when she organized office files for her mother’s friend in exchange for a homemade lemon meringue pie. In high school, she offered closet organizing services as a summer job. Many years later, when organizing programs like Clean Sweep and Mission: Organization premiered on cable television, Carolyn recognized the market for her natural organizational talents. She established her residential organizing business in 2004.
Carolyn has a full-time career in marketing communications, and she works with her organizing clients evenings and weekends. She helps individuals and families throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area get their clutter under control and to learn systems to get and stay organized. As you’d expect, after publishing her first book, Organizing Solutions for Every Quilter: An Illustrated Guide to the Space of Your Dreams with C&T Publishing in 2011, many of her organizing clients are quilters and crafters. However, she still gets plenty of requests for help with garages and home offices.
Carolyn has a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the University of California at Berkeley and her masters in business administration from Santa Clara University. A native of California, she and her family live in Chandler, Arizona. Her other passions include travel, cooking, reading, scrapbooking, gardening and hiking with her kids.
