Chirp, Chirp, Chirp......let's feed the birds!

Gather your supplies.
Pot, waxed paper, corn meal, unflavored gelatin, birdseed, corn syrup, 24" string.

Line your pot.

Loop your string and put it thru the bottom of the pot.

Dissolve the gelatine in a 1/4 c of warm water - add 1 T of corn syrup and mix well.

Add 1/2 C of corn meal (we used corn muffin mix) to 1 1/2 C of birdseed mixture.

Mix it all together and spoon into the pot - making sure your string stays center. Place in the freezer accelerate the items setting up. Remove after a few hours and tie a washer on the bottom side of string to hold the 'birdseed bell' from sliding down the string.
