Welcome to Take Home Tuesdays at 2!

Each week we come to you LIVE on Facebook at 2 p.m. CST!
Do you notice a theme of using some of your scraps on Take Home Tuesday?  We are at it again today - using fabric and batting scraps to create another simple and quick project......a coffee mug wrap!  Get your pattern ideas!
Step by step directions are pictured and also in the video.
Pick your fabrics!
Cut out two pieces of fabric and one piece of batting for each wrap you are making.
BEFORE sewing together....ADD any embellishments you desire.  Then layer the fabrics right sides together and then the batting.  If you prefer, you could sew the button on the top piece of fabric in this step as well.
Sew 1/4" around leaving an opening to turn inside out.  Make sure to sandwich an approx. 2" piece of elastic INTO one short side.  Match the two raw edges of elastic with the edges of the fabrics.
After turning inside out, press and stitch 1/8" around the top!  I tied the button on and it is ready to go!
