15th Anniversary - Afternoon Session

Join us for another inspiration-packed educational session as part of Hen & Chicks Studio’s 15th Anniversary Celebration! The afternoon features The Whole Country Caboodle and Terry Atkinson, with plenty of practical information you can take straight to your sewing room.

The Whole Country Caboodle will present The Caboodle Toolbox — Products, Tips and Techniques for Better Appliqué. With so many appliqué products available, how do you know which one to use? The team will walk you through their favorite tools and products, explaining how they work, when to use them and why. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how the right supplies and techniques can make appliqué easier and more successful.

Then, Terry Atkinson will feature her new book, Once Upon a Strip, and help you make the most of your fabric strips! Terry will share how color, value and prints work together and how to determine which fabrics will give you the best results. Whether you’re working from your stash, a favorite fabric collection or a bundle of strips, you’ll gain helpful ideas for choosing and combining fabrics with confidence.
