Longarm Certification Class

During this course, our Hen and Chicks Studio Longarm Staff will lead you through many basics of longarm quilting giving you some hints and tips during this 3 hour class.  We will also teach you the process of learning to load a quilt on our APQS longarm quilting machine. You will also practice using our APQS Longarm machine on a fabric panel that we will later donate.

We are often asked what do I need to bring for this class?  The answer - YOU!  We will provide you with anything you need during the class.  AS well, you will be given a set of zippers and a magnetic bracelet to collect your pins on.  By the end of class, our goal is that you will have a basic understanding of how the machine works and have gained some comfort in beginning to longarm quilt!   We encourage you to schedule a time for rental soon after you complete our class so you can continue to build your confidence and skills!
