Dear Clara Vines Green by Jason Yenter | In The Beginning Fabrics
Dear Clara by Jason Yenter for In the Beginning Fabrics If you love rich, saturated color, the Dear Clara collection by Jason Yenter for In the Beginning Fabrics is one you’ll want to see! Dear Clara was inspired by the beautiful artistry and brilliant colors of stained glass. While the 10 bolts we selected for Hen & Chicks Studio do not feature the collection’s stained-glass-style focal prints, they bring us something every quilter needs—the gorgeous coordinating colors that make those dramatic designs come to life. And these colors are anything but ordinary! Our selection of Dear Clara coordinates is filled with deep, saturated hues that have wonderful movement and dimension. Instead of reading as a flat solid, the designs add subtle texture and variations in color, giving you the versatility of a blender with so much more personality. Think rich jewel tones, glowing brights and beautifully layered color. These fabrics can add depth to a quilt, create contrast between blocks or provide just the right pop of color when a project needs a little more energy. One of the things we love about Jason Yenter’s collections is his incredible use of color, and these coordinates are a perfect example. Each fabric is beautiful on its own, but put several of them together and the colors begin to play off one another. They can move from light to dark, warm to cool and bold to even bolder! These are wonderful fabrics to keep in your stash because they can work in so many different ways. Pair them with a favorite focal print, use several together in a colorful quilt, add them to a scrappy project, or reach for one when you need a coordinate that has more interest than a traditional solid. We brought in 10 bolts from Dear Clara, choosing the coordinates that showcase the beautiful palette found throughout the complete collection. They give you the color and richness of Dear Clara without relying on the large-scale focal designs. Sometimes the supporting fabrics end up becoming the stars—and we think these Dear Clara coordinates are ready for their moment!
