Scrap quilts can sometimes get a little crazy if you just start adding pieces together without a plan. But there is something pleasing to the eye when you have one element in the design pulling everything together.
In Dayflower, found in the book Sunday Best Quilts, the unifying design element is the gray corner triangles. When the blocks are assembled these cornerstones join together and create a crisscrossed path across the quilt top.
The Dayflower fabric kit includes a variety of prints in an array of colors similar to the quilt shown to make a 72 1/2 x 90 1/2" quilt top. The book, Sunday Best Quilts, is not included in the kit but can be purchased separately.
