We ALL scream for ice cream!
The nest was busy with some special guests as we made a baggie of homemade ice cream!
Simple supplies needed: 1/4 milk, 1/4 half & half, 1 t vanilla, 1/2 C sugar, 1 C (or so) of ice, 3 T of rock salt
Measure your sugar and put in a small baggie. Add the liquid ingredients & seal bag tightly.
In a gallon sized baggie, put your ice and rock salt, then place the sealed smaller baggie in side. Gently roll your bag to mix the ice cream and it will begin to freeze! In about 10-15 minutes, you will have a small baggie of ice cream! YUM!
(Make sure you wipe off your small baggie before opening as it will have the melted salt water on it!)
