In this episode of Tour de Chicks, we start outside so you can see just how close The Coop is to Hen & Chicks Studio. With the quilt shop right across the parking lot, you’re always just a few steps away from fresh inspiration, extra fabric, or helpful guidance from our team.

Once inside, the tour gives you a look at the retreat center from several angles to help you visualize the layout. The Coop is thoughtfully designed for quilters, scrapbookers, and crafters who want a comfortable space to spread out and create. Every workstation features table-height plug-ins, making it easy to set up sewing machines, irons, and lighting exactly how you like them.

We also walk through the living room area with its Smart TV for evening relaxation, and the fully stocked kitchen that keeps mealtimes simple and convenient. The Coop has two bathrooms, and we provide all linens and towels so you can pack light and settle right in. You’ll also see the two cozy bedrooms and the ramp that leads up to the back door, making access easy for everyone.

While the video focuses on the tour itself, it’s worth mentioning that The Coop is built around our No Fuss, All Fun philosophy. There is no minimum number of retreaters required, so you can come solo or bring your entire quilting group. We book retreats seven days a week, and weekends fill up fast. Our 2026 calendar is already booking, so it’s a great time to plan ahead and secure your dates.
