Welcome to Take Home Tuesdays at 2!
Each week we come to you LIVE on Facebook at 2 p.m. CST!
Today, we are making Yo-Yo's!
Look at these beautiful yo-yo's made by Heidi's grandmother!
Here they are all stitched together to make an adorable table topper!
Not up to making a big project with yo-yo's? We understand, but just start simple with one of these ideas OR one of your own!
Trace & cut circle.
For a 'finished' circle (no raw edges showing), fold over edge slightly and start a basting stitch. Jami ties a knot at the end of her thread.
Use a running gathering stitch all the way around your circle.
Pull your threads to gather evenly.
Stitch and tie off your threads after you have gathered your yo-yo.
So MUCH FUN! Go be creative!!!!!
